MAINTENANCE

New Arrivals

Maintenance of climbing parks and zip lines

A climbing park or zip line is never truly “finished.” Daily use, weather influences, and natural wear and tear require proper and timely maintenance. Regular maintenance is essential for safety, the lifespan of materials, and a positive experience for both visitors and staff. At Bouw het Avontuur, we therefore look beyond a simple checklist, we look at how a park is actually used.

We carry out maintenance on a call-out basis or according to an agreed maintenance interval. This can range from technical inspections of cables, platforms, and anchor points to replacing components or adjusting obstacles. Flexible, targeted, and tailored to your park.

No contract, full inspection!

We are regularly asked whether we also offer maintenance contracts. The short answer: no—and this is a very deliberate choice. In our experience, maintenance contracts in this industry often become a model in which the actual purpose of maintenance is ultimately not achieved.

Owners often pay for maintenance that is not necessary, simply because it is included in the contract. The builder or maintenance provider is limited to fixed moments and fixed actions, while every climbing park is unique and every season is different. Safety does not necessarily improve, because genuine attention and customization make way for “contractual obligations.”

Maintenance should be about what a climbing park truly needs, not about what has been agreed on paper.

By working with call-outs or clear maintenance intervals, we keep things honest and effective. You contact us when it is needed, or we jointly agree on when inspection or maintenance makes sense based on usage, location, and type of park. This results in:

  • More targeted maintenance

  • Lower long-term costs

  • Greater focus on safety and quality

This way, your climbing park or zip line remains safe, reliable, and ready for adventure—without unnecessary obligations.
