For safety in a climbing park, properly functioning climbing equipment is essential. Regular Smart Belay (X) inspection and certification help prevent downtime and extend the lifespan of the systems. At the same time, we understand that temporarily taking Smart Belay (X) units out of operation impacts the day-to-day operation of a climbing park, especially during busy periods.

That is why we align Smart Belay (X) maintenance with the season and the park’s planning. Maintenance can be carried out year-round, but many climbing parks choose to schedule it during the quieter winter months. Between October and March, many operators have their Smart Belay (X) sets serviced and certified, ensuring they are ready in time for the new climbing season.

When Smart Belay (X) systems are due for their annual inspection or technical maintenance, they can be submitted to us. Upon receipt, the systems are checked for functionality, wear, and safety, fully in accordance with the applicable Edelrid inspection requirements for service masters. Any necessary work is discussed prior to execution and then carefully carried out before the systems are released for use.

After maintenance is completed, the Smart Belay (X) systems are returned ready for use, including the accompanying documentation. This ensures that safety in the climbing park remains guaranteed and that visitors and staff can use the system with confidence.
